FAQs

What is therapy?
Therapy is a process that focuses on addressing and improving a person’s mental health, which can significantly impact various aspects of life, including family, work, relationships, and self-esteem. At Honestly Olive, we are dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your concerns and begin your journey toward healing. Through individualized treatment plans and evidence-based interventions, we aim to enhance your mental well-being.

Therapy can be challenging, but you don’t have to face it alone. We offer a variety of services, including individual, couples, and group therapy, all designed to support your unique needs. Our holistic approach addresses the mind, body, and spirit to help you achieve balance and wellness.

How do I start therapy?
Starting therapy at Honestly Olive begins with scheduling a free Initial Phone Consultation. During this consultation, a clinician will provide an overview of the services we offer and discuss your goals and current concerns. This is your opportunity to share your needs and explore the options available. At the end of the consultation, the clinician will help you schedule the appropriate next steps, such as an initial assessment, group therapy screening, or psychological testing.

You can schedule your free consultation through the Simple Practice Client Portal or by calling us directly at (414) 502-9023.

What is the Simple Practice Client Portal?
The Simple Practice Client Portal is a convenient online platform where you can manage your appointments, communicate with your clinician, and pay for services. Before your Initial Assessment, you will need to register on the portal, create a client account, and complete the necessary intake paperwork.

You can access the portal in one of the following ways:

Does everything remain confidential?

Additionally, for insurance billing purposes, we will only provide the minimal necessary information. If you wish to share information with another provider (e.g., psychiatrist or medical professional), we will require you to complete and sign a Release of Information form. This ensures your consent for us to exchange the necessary details with the provider.

What do I do in case of an emergency?
For emergencies requiring immediate assistance, please call 911 or go to the nearest hospital.

What happens if I miss or cancel an appointment?

We aim to provide high-quality care to all our clients. To ensure fairness and efficiency:

  • We require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Notifications can be made via phone, email, or the Simple Practice Client Portal.

  • If you cancel or reschedule within less than 24 hours or miss an appointment without prior notice, a fee will be charged. This fee will be automatically applied to the payment method registered in your client portal.
